Can I Get a Same-Day Notary? . Southeast Signing Service

Yes, you can get a notary the same day you call. Southeast Signing Service provides same-day notary dispatch nationwide . typically within 2-4 hours of your call in our established metro areas. Heres how it works and what you need to know to get a notary to your door today.

How Same-Day Notary Service Works

Call Now . Dont Wait

Same-day availability depends on how quickly you call. Morning calls have the best chance of same-day service because notaries have open schedules. Afternoon calls may still work in metro areas. Late-night calls . were available 24/7 and will dispatch if a notary is available.

Tell Us Your Location and Document

We need to know where you are and what you need notarized. This lets us locate the nearest available notary and confirm they can handle your document type. Loan signings, for example, require a signing agent rather than a general notary.

We Check Availability

We immediately check our network for the nearest available notary. In metro Savannah or Jacksonville, theres almost always a notary who can reach you within 2 hours. Rural areas may take longer.

Notary Dispatched

Once confirmed, the notary heads your way. We provide an ETA and a firm price. The notarization happens at your location . home, office, hospital, or wherever you are.

What Situations Require a Same-Day Notary?

Real estate closing gaps: A missing signature or incomplete notarization on a closing package thats funding today. These are the most common same-day emergencies we handle.
Medical directives: A procedure is scheduled today or tomorrow. The advance directive or healthcare power of attorney must be notarized now.
Court filing deadlines: An affidavit, sworn statement, or legal document must be filed by end of day. The courthouse closes at 5pm . the notarization has to happen before then.
Travel consent forms: A flight departs tomorrow. The notarized parental consent letter for a minor traveling internationally is required at check-in.
Last-minute estate documents: An attorney drafted a will or power of attorney today and the client needs it notarized now . often because travel or a procedure is imminent.

Same-Day Notary Response Times by Area

Response times vary by location and time of day. Heres what to expect in our service areas:

Metro Savannah: 1-2 hours during business hours. Slightly longer evenings and weekends.
Metro Jacksonville: 1.5-2.5 hours. Jacksonvilles size means travel time varies by neighborhood.
Pooler, Brunswick, St. Simons: 2-3 hours. Smaller communities but consistent notary coverage.
Rural areas nationwide: 3-4 hours or more depending on local agent availability. Fewer notaries, longer distances. Call early for best results.

What Same-Day Service Costs

Same-day notary service typically adds a $15-$30 urgency premium to the standard travel fee. For a single-document notarization in a metro area during business hours, expect $50-$80 total for same-day service. The exact quote depends on your location and the specific notary available. We give you the price upfront . no surprises.

How to Improve Your Chances of Same-Day Service

Call as early as possible . morning calls have the best availability.
Be flexible on time . an "afternoon window" is easier to accommodate than "exactly 2:15pm."
Have your document printed and ready . the notary cant wait while you find a printer.
Have your ID ready . expired or missing ID means no notarization, same-day or not.
Be in a metro area . same-day service in cities is routine; in remote rural areas its possible but not guaranteed.
