Savannah, Georgia . Notary Mentorship
You hold a Georgia notary commission but havent earned your National Notary Association certification yet. Thats okay. Our Savannah mentorship program pairs you with an experienced, NNA-certified notary so you can learn the trade hands-on before taking on assignments of your own.
Savannah is one of Georgias busiest markets for mobile notary work. The historic city draws steady real estate activity, a thriving healthcare network, and a large military presence near Fort Stewart. From downtown condo closings to bedside signings at Memorial Health, there is no shortage of people who need documents notarized. That demand creates a real opportunity for commissioned notaries who want to build a career here, even without prior NNA certification.
We designed this program for Savannah-area notaries who have an active commission but have not yet completed NNA training. Instead of turning you away, we invest in you. Heres how the path works:
For the first week, you ride along with one of our NNA-certified veteran notaries based in the Savannah area. You observe real signings, learn proper document handling, watch how to guide clients through acknowledgments and jurats, and see firsthand how to manage time and professionalism on the road. You will not perform notarizations yourself during this week. You are there to watch, ask questions, and absorb the process.
Once the shadow week wraps up, you move into a two-week probationary period. During this time you will take on actual signing assignments in and around Savannah under reduced oversight. We evaluate your punctuality, accuracy, client communication, and document handling. This is your chance to prove you are ready for steady work.
After the two-week probation, any decision to continue the working relationship is entirely at the discretion of Southeast Signing Service Corporation. We base our decision on your performance during both the shadow week and the probationary period. If things go well, you join our active notary roster and start receiving regular job assignments.
If you have a valid Georgia commission, you can apply. We help bridge the gap until you pursue NNA certification on your own.
Shadow a notary who already works the Savannah market. Learn the routes, the clients, and the document types common to Chatham County.
The probationary period includes paid assignments. You are not just observing, you are earning.
Perform well during shadowing and probation and you can earn a spot on our active notary network with steady job flow.
