These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Southeast Signing Service Corporation website and services, including the scheduling of notary and apostille appointments and participation in our SMS text messaging program. By accessing our website, booking a service, or opting in to receive text messages, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our website or services.
Southeast Signing Service Corporation provides mobile notary, apostille, and signing agent services nationwide. We act as an independent service provider and are not a party to any legal document we notarize. Our notaries verify identity and witness signatures in accordance with applicable state law but do not provide legal advice or attorney services.
By providing your mobile phone number and opting in, you consent to receive SMS and MMS text messages from Southeast Signing Service Corporation related to appointment confirmations, reminders, status updates, service notifications, and a one-time post-service message inviting you to leave a review.
We do not share your mobile number with third parties for marketing purposes. See our Privacy Policy at southeastsigningservice.com/privacy-policy for details on how we handle your information.
Staff and agent notifications: Field agents and staff who provide their mobile number during onboarding consent to receive text notifications related to job status and assignment activity. These messages are operational and are not used for marketing.
Our SMS program is intended to comply with the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), the Cellular Telecommunications Industry Association (CTIA) messaging principles and best practices, and applicable carrier guidelines. We do not send messages containing age-gated content, direct lending offers, or content that violates carrier acceptable use policies.
Appointment confirmations are subject to notary availability. We reserve the right to reschedule or cancel appointments due to unforeseen circumstances. Cancellations made with at least 24 hours notice will not incur a fee. Late cancellations or no-shows may be subject to a fee at our discretion.
Payment is due at the time of service unless otherwise arranged. We accept major credit cards through our secure payment processor. Prices for services are quoted at the time of booking and may vary based on location, document type, and time of service.
Southeast Signing Service Corporation provides notary services on an "as is" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim.
Our notaries are not attorneys and do not provide legal advice, legal opinions, or assistance in drafting legal documents. If you need legal advice, please consult a licensed attorney.
We may update these Terms and Conditions at any time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of our website or services after any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
